Who is Lisa Orrell?

After graduating from San Jose State University, Lisa went on to start her first advertising agency when she was just 25 years old, and she has now been a successful business owner and entrepreneur for two decades. During this time she has recruited, managed, motivated, and mentored a wide variety of people, ranging in gender, age, and background.

With a 20-year history in marketing, management and leadership, Lisa always keeps her finger on the pulse of the “next big trends” that affect business.

Spotting the Millennial (aka Gen Y) “trend” several years ago, she began to research their impact on corporate cultures and management teams (in the U.S. and globally). This led to writing her popular book: Millennials Incorporated: The Big Business of Recruiting, Managing and Retaining the World's New Generation of Young Professionals. Her book is Rated #1 on Amazon in its genre and has recently been chosen as a finalist in a national book award competition.

Lisa is an in-demand, dynamic speaker and consultant who conducts seminars on how executive leadership and management teams can better engage with Millennial talent. And Lisa also helps well-known companies improve their internal and external generations relations to increase employee morale, team building, revenue, communication, retention, and productivity.

In addition to speaking and consulting, Lisa is also a Leadership Coach for Millennials entering leadership roles at work. And her new book for Millennials assuming leadership positions in the workforce will be published in the fall of 2009. Plus, to further her coaching knowledge and stay current on new coaching methodologies, Lisa is receiving her Professional Coaching Certification through a globally respected academy that is accredited by the International Coach Federation. Only 50% of "coaches" are certified, and now Lisa will be one of them!
