After graduating from college, Lisa went on to start her first advertising agency when she was just 25 years old, and she has now been an ad agency-owner for two decades. And as a marketing and branding expert, she has always kept her finger on the pulse of the “next big trends” that affect business. Also during this time she has recruited, managed, motivated, and mentored a wide variety of people, ranging in gender, age, and backgrounds. Under Lisa’s leadership, her team has won over 100 national and international awards for marketing and creative excellence, and she and her company have been featured in many business publications. Now, in the next phase of her professional life as a popular speaker focused on generation relations at work, Lisa has extensively researched the Millennial generation “trend” and their impact on corporate cultures and management teams (in the U.S. and globally). Her interest in this unique generation, and their dynamic with other generations, lead her to write her latest book: Millennials Incorporated: The Big Business of Recruiting, Managing and Retaining North America’s New Generation of Young Professionals. Well-known companies now hire her to educate their HR, Diversity, and Recruitment teams, as well as their GenX and Boomer managers, about recruiting, managing and retaining Millennial Professionals. And with the Boomers retiring en masse over the next 5-15 years, depleting the average large company of 30-40% of their workforce, the professional world is starting to take notice because the Millennials are our professional workforce's future managers, executives and leaders. But who are they and what do they expect from an employer…and how can YOU recruit & retain them? Lisa knows!
